DJI has officially introduced the Osmo 360, marking the company’s debut in the 360-degree camera market. Designed for content creators, athletes, tech enthusiasts, and professionals, the Osmo 360 offers immersive video recording in high resolution with a compact and user-friendly design, making it especially appealing to U.S. users who value versatility and portability in their gear.
One of the standout aspects of the Osmo 360 is its dual 1-inch CMOS sensors, a first for cameras in this category. These high-quality sensors enable detailed video capture even in challenging lighting conditions. Equipped with dual fisheye lenses, the camera seamlessly records a full 360-degree field of view, removing the need for constant adjustments to framing or camera angle.
The Osmo 360 supports 8K video recording for up to 100 minutes on a single charge, and up to 190 minutes at 6K, without overheating—an important feature for extended shooting sessions. It also includes fast charging, 105GB of internal storage, USB 3.1, and Wi-Fi 6, ensuring quick file transfers and reliable wireless connectivity.
A popular feature among creators, the “invisible selfie stick” effect, helps generate third-person perspectives without visible mounting gear. Additionally, DJI includes creative modes like Hitchcock, Asteroid, Drone View, and Timelapse Vortex, expanding storytelling possibilities. Gesture control and lens switching during recording further enhance usability on the go.
For vloggers, sports enthusiasts, and social media content creators, the DJI Osmo 360 presents a compelling combination of cinematic performance and practical innovation. Whether used for travel vlogs, action footage, or virtual tours, its compact size and high-resolution output make it a strong competitor to other leading 360 cameras like the Insta360 X series and GoPro Max.
The camera will be available in the U.S. soon via DJI’s official store and authorized retailers. The base Standard Combo (includes the camera, a protective pouch, a rubber lens protector, and more) retails for $549.99 with more bundles like the Vlog Combos (additionally includes a selfie stick, a DJI Mic mini transmitter, and more) costing up to $758.99
